A colourful start with project rainbow

  • Marking a milestone in CDL’s history, Project Rainbow – the Group’s office renovation and relocation exercise, has brought the CDL family under the same roof at Republic Plaza. The departments that were originally housed at City House shifted over to occupy three new floors at Republic Plaza in early April 2018.

The open plan at the new office includes breakout spaces where colleagues can meet for discussions and brainstorming sessions.

Singapore, 1 April 2018 – As part of Project Rainbow, departments with close work interactions were grouped closer to one another to facilitate smoother work communications and discussions. Adopting an open-space office concept, the new office design encourages teamwork and inter- and intra-department communications, which in turn generates greater camaraderie amongst employees. An internal staircase was also built to facilitate ease of movement across the three floors.

In addition, the open plan at the new office provides breakout spaces where colleagues can meet for discussions and brainstorming sessions. Elements of new technology, such as Smart TVs in meeting rooms that support video conferencing, as well as Follow-Me-Print in printers, also provide greater convenience to employees.
