The MIPIM Asia Awards recognise the property industry’s best and brightest, rewarding innovation and achievement in a variety of fields. After selection by a prestigious jury and a vote by MIPIM Asia delegates, winners were awarded Gold, Silver and Bronze recognition during the MIPIM Asia Awards Gala Dinner, held on 30 November 2016 at Grand Hyatt, Hong Kong.
SGBC-BCA Sustainability Leadership Awards 2016 – Sustainability in Design & Performance – Residential category

|CDL’s Tree House condominium received the inaugural SGBC-BCA Sustainability Leadership Award 2016 for the Sustainability in Design & Performance – Residential category. Organised by the Singapore Green Building Council (SGBC) and the Building and Construction Authority (BCA), the Awards aim to showcase and celebrate the achievements of Singapore companies and building projects that lead the way on sustainability in the built environment. The awards were given out during the Singapore Green Building Week at the SGBC Gala Dinner 2016 on 6 September 2016.
|CDL emerged as the only developer to receive Building and Construction Authority (BCA) Green Mark Pearl Prestige Award for two straight years. The top-tier award recognises the concerted commitment of developers, building owners, landlords and tenants of the same building towards environmentally-friendly efforts. In total, CDL is the most-awarded developer in the Green Mark Pearl category, winning three out of the five awards given out this year. In recognition of its firm commitment and leadership in delivering high quality homes, CDL was also conferred the Quality Excellence Award – Quality Champion (Platinum) this year, making it the only developer to win this award for the fourth consecutive year.
The accolades are a strong endorsement of CDL’s steadfast leadership commitment in greening the built environment. Over the years, CDL has pioneered green building innovations and championed industry-changing methods that enhance productivity, construction excellence and environmental sustainability. Beyond building infrastructure, CDL believes in working with its commercial tenants to play a bigger role in the green building movement. Its end-user initiatives have enabled tenants to adopt sustainable practices, achieve utility savings and lower their carbon footprint.

|With an objective to recognise excellence in the property industry in the region and to promote an international standard, the Asia Pacific Property Awards 2016 is open to residential and commercial property professionals. A world-renowned mark of excellence with a fully transparent judging system audited by accountancy network BDO, the Awards shines a spotlight on high calibre work within the real estate industry and highlights top quality developers, projects and services.
Asia Pacific Property Awards 2016 is part of the International Property Awards, where top winners in the Asia Pacific region will be put forward for re-judging against international winners in other regions of the world.
Three CDL properties received recognition during the Awards Gala held on 7-8 April 2016 in Kuala Lumpur, with Echelon taking home the Best Residential High-rise Architecture for Singapore Award, and South Beach winning two Awards – Best Mixed-use Development for Singapore Award and Best Mixed-use Architecture for Singapore Award.

|Modelled after Japan’s prestigious Good Design Mark, the aim of the Singapore Good Design Mark (SG Mark) Awards is to encourage and champion holistic design practices. Officially launched in 2013 by Design Business Chamber Singapore, the SG Mark seeks to acknowledge companies and individuals who have inculcated design values in their products and services to enhance industrial development and enrich lives responsibly.
CDL garnered seven SG Mark Awards in 2016, and its South Beach mixed-use development is a winner of the SG Mark Platinum Award. The accolades affirm CDL’s commitment towards creating value through its sustainable developments and a dedication to building innovation and excellence.

|For the second consecutive year, Jungceylon Shopping Mall, CDL’s retail mall located in the commercial area of Patong, Phuket, received the Top 10 Shopping Mall Award in the People’s Choice Awards Thailand Voted by Chinese Tourists 2016. Organised by the Tourism Authority of Thailand, the Awards aim to enhance Thailand’s tourism profile by recognising and promoting outstanding tourist attractions in Thailand. The awards were given out on 27 June at the Royal Bangkok Sports Club.
|- Public Utilities Board (PUB)|
|CDL's Coco Palms condominium has been endorsed by the Public Utilities Board (PUB) as an Active, Beautiful and Clean (ABC) Waters Certified project. Drawing architectural inspiration from some of the world's best resorts, Coco Palms was designed with organic and eco-friendly design principles that blend well with the natural surroundings.
Launched by PUB on 1 July 2010, the ABC Waters Certification aims to provide recognition to public agencies and private developers that incorporate the ABC Waters Concept and Design Features in their developments.

Through CDL’s continued efforts in engaging stakeholders to consistently adopt an EHS-conscious culture, four of its project sites were also accorded the SHARP (Safety and Health Award Recognition for Projects) Award.

The Awards were presented at an Awards ceremony held on 21 October 2016 at Regent Hotel Singapore.
